Send Email

Follow the steps below to send email messages from Varius Message Router’s web interface.

1. Send email

Navigate to Client Tools > Send Email.

  1. The page allows you to send an email message.
  2. Mail Server: The SMTP server to use to send the email. Select from the list of SMTP server profiles or click “Mail Server” to manage SMTP server profiles.

  3. Groups: Select the contact groups to send email to the group members.
  4. Recipients: Fill in the email address in the textbox or click “Add Contacts” to select individual contacts to add.
  5. Message template:
    1. Select a message from the dropdown list and the message appears in the “Subject” and “Message” fields.
    2. Add
      Fill in new subject and message in the “Subject” and “Message” fields and click “Insert New” to add a new message template.
    3. Edit
      Select a message template and enter its subject and message in the “Subject” and “Message” fields. Click “Update” to save the information.
    4. Delete
      Select a message template and click “Delete”.
  6. Subject: Email subject.
  7. Message: Email content.
  8. Schedule: If you need to send a scheduled message, click “No Schedule Set” link to create a schedule.

  9. Process the message with HTTP inbound filter: Select this option to apply HTTP inbound filter rules to the message and trigger the respective actions. The message will not be sent as email.
  10. Click “Clear” to clear the settings.
  11. Click “Send” to send the email.
